Both Sgt. Philemon Stacey and Cpl. Perley Batcheller served in Captain Aaron Kimball’s Grafton Company, marching 36 miles in response to the Lexington Alarm, April 19, 1775 [Battle Road].  Sgt. Joseph Warren was in Captain Luke Drury’s Grafton Company that day. The names were all signed by one person, likely either one of the committee or the widow Shearman.
